My High Protein Morning Routine: Why I’m Adding the Fast 50

One of the questions I’ve been asked the most lately is:

“What are you doing differently?”

The truth is, there isn’t one answer.

Over the past year, I’ve shared more openly about my wellness journey and how physician-guided peptide therapy has helped me lose weight, regain energy, and—most importantly—feel like myself again.

But one thing I never want people to think is that peptides did all the work.

If anything, they’ve helped me build better habits.

Instead of constantly feeling like I’m fighting my body, I finally feel like I have the capacity to support it.

That shift has changed everything.

Wellness Is Built in the Small Things

One lesson I’ve learned is that wellness isn’t about finding one magic product.

It’s about creating routines that are easy to repeat.

For me, that looks like lifting weights a few mornings each week, prioritizing protein, taking my Complete Probiotic, drinking more water, and making choices that help me feel good instead of chasing perfection.

Now I’m adding something new to that routine.

Why Protein Matters Even More

One thing I’ve learned throughout this journey is just how important protein really is.

Protein supports lean muscle, helps keep me feeling satisfied, and gives my body the building blocks it needs... especially as I’m working toward maintaining muscle while losing body fat.

Like many women, I realized I wasn’t consistently eating enough.

Some mornings I’d grab coffee and rush out the door.

Other days I’d eat something that sounded healthy but left me hungry an hour later.

I wanted something simple.

Something refreshing during a Texas summer.

And something I could actually look forward to making.

That’s what led me to the Fast 50.

My High Protein Morning Routine

Starting this week, this is the new high protein morning routine I’m committing to.

Fast 50

Ingredients

  • 8–12 oz cold water (I mix with 4–6 oz first, then top off the glass)

  • 1 scoop Clear Protein+ (Frosted Lemonade or Blue Raspberry)

  • 1 scoop Complete Collagen (Unflavored or Piña Colada)

  • 1 scoop plain Greek yogurt

  • Ice

Optional additions:

  • Trimstix for steady afternoon energy*

  • Spryng for hydration and recovery*

Together, it delivers nearly 50 grams of protein while still feeling light and refreshing.

Exactly what I want during East Texas summers.

I’m Sharing This Before It’s Perfect

I debated whether to wait a few weeks before writing this.

Maybe I should have tested it every day.

Maybe I should have had another success story first.

But then I realized…

That’s not really how I want to share my life.

I want this blog to be a place where I document the journey, not just the destination.

So today, I’m inviting you into something new that I’m genuinely excited about.

Maybe in a few months I’ll have favorite variations.

Maybe I’ll discover new ways to customize it.

Maybe it’ll become one of those habits I can’t imagine living without.

We’ll find out together.

Supporting My Body, One Habit at a Time

If there’s one thing this past year has taught me, it’s this:

The biggest transformations rarely come from one big decision.

They come from dozens of small ones.

Choosing protein.

Moving your body.

Getting enough sleep.

Supporting your gut.

Finding tools that work with your body instead of against it.

Showing up consistently.

That’s what this next chapter looks like for me.

Not chasing perfection.

Just continuing to build a life where I feel strong, energized, and at home in my own skin.

And honestly…

I can’t wait to see where these little habits take me next.
